Archangel Princess

About the Book:
Patricia Allenz was a somewhat typical girl. For the past few months, she’d been busy counting down the months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, and seconds until her first day of college at Port Townsend University, in Washington. Patricia’s life was a simple one as far as she knew. Most of her memories involved her family, which consisted of her younger brother Kellen, and her Abuela Viola. After her grandmother’s death on her sixteenth birthday, Patricia was convinced that day had been the worst day of her life.
Wishful thinking, on her part. On the night before her first day of college classes, her grandmother visits her in a dream. What starts out as a reunion between the two rapidly turns into a complete nightmare.
From that night, forward her path changes from a straight and narrow one to a totally different realm all together. It does not help that along the way the men that she’d loved at one time, or rather centuries ago, are so conflicted that she cannot decide who to trust. Her body craves them both, but her heart only sings to one of their souls.
Patricia is forced to face truths she cannot understand, betrayals from loved ones, and a love so powerful she would die to keep him safe. A new world of archangels, demons, and witches threatens to swallow her whole. She has the choice to run away from the unknown or live up to the title Archangel Princess of Alpheratz forever.
Will Patricia stand up to her fate or will she crumble and fight against what is destined to come?
Excerpt:
Class was
over, and all the Facebook robots were packing up their iPads and making their
exit. I felt a warm sensation start to rise from the pit of my stomach up to my
throat.
I must have
been sitting there for a while, when I noticed myself rubbing the stone hanging
from my necklace. The cold energy was calming me, keeping the rising fire
inside from overpowering me completely. Why do I feel so freaked out?
The answer
to my question… because I wasn’t alone. That was when I noticed the last
student to leave had stopped at the end of my aisle, watching me… as my mind
plummeted back to earth. Clearing his throat, he opened his beautiful mouth.
Yes, I know, who would have ever thought a mouth could be beautiful, but his definitely was.

“Um, I
didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable earlier. I just thought you looked
familiar,” he said casually. As this boy talked to me, I felt as if I were
having an out of body experience.
He had caught me off guard, and the way his smoky eyes looked into mine, made me feel as if maybe he did know me.

“Oh, uh,
it’s okay. No offense taken,” I replied meekly. “Guess I have one of those
familiar faces,” I blurted out before I could stop myself. I turned abruptly
and started to pack away my books. As I glanced his way a few times, I noticed
that my movements were being matched by his own adjustments. As if he were
moving along with me, or something.
I must be going crazy. I need to check the expiration date on that ginger tea!

Breaking the
silence, the handsome guy spoke again, “How rude of me, my name is Enthany.
Enthany Jovanea.”
He held out his hand. I walked towards the end of the aisle, still stuck on the way he pronounced his name. Starring deep into his eyes in a trance like state, I held out my hand, pulling back a little once my skin made contact with his. His skin was as smooth as marbles with no blemishes or scars. His nails were the perfect combination of polish and buff, radiating their own shine.

Then the
heat hit me as if I had just jumped in front of a fucking Mack truck. That same
feeling I had in my dream… that force building inside of me was now growing.
And it was growing fast. Looking into his eyes was comforting, but the rest of
him just didn’t feel right to me.
“Patricia,
are you sure you’re okay?” he asked with a furrowed brow. His beautiful grey
eyes were full of worry as they searched my own for the answer to his question.
Blinking
rapidly to break the awkward trance, I looked down at my black leather knee
high boots instead. “Um, yeah, sorry. I’ve been having a strange morning,” I
honestly admitted. “First day of college is really playing with my nerves, I
guess. I’m Patricia Allenz, by the way.” I blurted again looking down at my
hand as I snatched it back. Wow! Had we been holding hands that entire time?
“Yeah, I
know,” he said smiling. “You did make a fashionably late entrance.”
Using all my
strength, which for me wasn’t much, I tried helplessly to contain this energy
rising inside of me. It was fiery and alarming. My internal hazard lights had
gone off somewhere inside of me.
My eyes
darted to the exit sign. Sensing that this Enthany guy was not about to give
way, I motioned towards the exit sign with my trembling hand. “Oh, yes, of
course, ladies first.”

Filled with love and so much trouble, I sometimes wonder if I need medication for the stories that pop into my head. I have now decided to share my mystical mind and stories with the world so, hopefully, others may also find that little something extra they've been looking for within my stories.
